pod2Hi there! I’m Amy, a super-fun, crafty lady that enjoys teaching YOU how to be more creative in your paper-crafting escapades.

I call myself a “Messy Type-A” because I’m organized enough to get things done but have just enough “crazy” as I call it, to keep me balanced.

I have had the privilege, in 2015, to make tutorials for:

Craft Project Central and Splitcoast Stampers

I am teacher for Big Picture Classes

I’ve got over 100 YouTube videos, and now find me on iTunes with audio and video podcasts.

I’ve always loved to scrapbook, and even worked at a scrapbook store for a time, so paper crafting naturally fit me. In September of 2013, I opened a studio in my home and launched my business as {crazy}beYOUtiful ~ Your Creative Studio and in December of 2013 I launched my new website with this name.

My studio is in Jackson Township, just outside of Canton Ohio. I teach a monthly card class and host private parties and classes. Contact me today for more information and for directions.

Oa personal note…

I am a mother of three, wife and woman of faith. I was raised in the Midwest, in a small town in western Wisconsin and in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Wanting to get out of the snow and cold weather, I packed up and headed to college in sunny Tucson, Arizona. I studied architecture at the University of Arizona, and was trained in design and critical thinking. In college, I spent endless hours in “studio” and it was there that I began my love of creating.

I am still a licensed architect (in California & Ohio) but my role as a wife and mother lead me down another path… that of an entrepreneur. I love working for myself and setting my own schedule.

If you love card making you’re in the right place. But I’m not stopping there. I’ve heard for TOO long that people aren’t creative (or “I don’t have a creative bone in my body.” well, that may be true… creativity is a muscle – not a bone. I can help you learn to be creative and create a better craft and life for yourself.

Make sure to check out my YouTube channel if you like video tutorials.

Listen to my podcast if you would like to get to know paper crafters from the industry!
